Hotel Steinbock - Brienz (Bern)

1) Spacious room, beautiful lake view, excellent breakfast

1) Slow dinner service, limited English communication, troubling Wi-Fi connection

Lovely building and rooms with terrace. Perfect and nice location in 10 mins walk from the city center.

Perfect and exceptionally nice location near the station with views of the mountains and the lake.

Absolutely unimpressed, my "lake view room" overlooked a parking lot, how charming! Not to mention, the staff couldn't even manage to bring me tea when needed. I expected something more for what I paid-certainly a free upgrade for this torture. Was almost going to give a good review, but really, this was just laughable.

We both appreciated it, the place is wonderful small and suited fine. The location was stunning and incredible - an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Also, the hotel was set around 10-15 minutes walk from Southover Grange Gardens...

Well, Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

Truly exceptional hotel with very central location and reasonably large rooms. The rooms for a couch or sofa. Location adjacent to lake and mountain, Wallenberg open air museum, and Rothorn mountain. A very good way to end my trip...

Can just recommend for a lightning stop

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, with a lovely fresh fruit salad and nice bread, and good free parking provided ample space for our vehicle, and it was conveniently located near local attractions worth visiting .

Fine lake views and cozy accommodations

The comfortable room had a convenient layout. The dining experience featured some of the best local dishes, especially the Perch. I found the dinner prices slightly on the higher side compared to other options in the area.

The breakfast was sumptuous, and the spacious balcony had an amazing view—definitely worth it! However, the service was a bit slow at dinner. I'd choose this place again!

Great free parking, very spacious room with tv. Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

The location was splendid, with a lively café terrace and modern, clean rooms. The spacious bathroom and balcony? Divine!

But really, if the Wi-Fi were any slower, it would be resembling a tortoise in a marathon. The menu could use a little more spice, darling!

It was a strong match for a couple of nights in Brienz with great value-to-price ratio. The terrace in our room provided a nice view of Lake Brienz every morning. Consider checking out the local attractions close by for a nice experience.

Amazing views of the lake and a superb location near the train station! The staff were friendly. The restaurant was cozy and created a nice atmosphere.

It would be great to have tea facilities in the room for convenience.

Excellent hotel with good wi-fi, free parking, and a great restaurant. On my first stay, the staff kindly returned my shower bag that I forgot. I'm coming back for another trip!

This hotel is in a fantastic spot, close to the mountains, the lake, and the lovely lakeside promenade. The staff here was always friendly and helped me with any issues I had 😊.
